Optimizing your PC is one of the single actions with a greater impact on your system’s performance. An optimization can have equal or even better results than upgrading your hardware; that is why a system optimizer will usually come in handy.
TweakNow WinSecret is a system optimizer, which means that it will scan different system areas to find and fix the errors there. At first sight, TweakNow WinSecret looks very similar to other optimizers, especially those developed by the same company, such as TweakNow RegCleaner and TweakNow Powerpack. In this respect, these products are similar not only because of their interfaces but also because they offer the same basic features. However, they also have different functions and prices that range from absolutely free to 15 dollars.
The interface is easy to use. Although you can select the desired tab and go straight to the needed functions, there is also the Quick Optimizer tab that works just by selecting the areas to check. However, there is a special tab called Windows Secret, which will let you tweak your system by providing access to rather hidden Windows options. These tweaks are additionally grouped under the headings Applications, Control Panel, Desktop, Miscellaneous, Network and Internet, OEM Information, Special Folders, Start Menu, Windows Core, Windows Explorer and Windows Logon. The rest of the tabs offer quite similar functions in relation to other optimizers, such as cleaning the Registry, managing the StartUp list, uninstalling programs, accessing system information, erasing private items, among a few others.
While testing the software, it seemed to do what it promises; although the results of any optimization are difficult to check. However, when I tried to use the function called Special Folders, it responded with an error message and none of the functions on the tab would work until I switched to another tab.
In general, TweakNow WinSecret seems to be just another optimizer, without anything interesting to offer, except for some unusual system tweaks. However, it is sold for an extremely fair price and the trial version conditions seem reasonable as well.
